Sales of trade on Fathers Day this year showed a growth of 1.2% compared to the same period of 2018, according to data from Boa Vista. According to the analysis company, the reason for the timidity of the market in presenting more vigorous results comes due to the reduction of consumer confidence and the labour market still in recovery. Boa Vista predicts that these same results should be found on the next commemorative dates of 2019. This growth occurred after the significant increase of 2.8% in 2018. The methodology for the calculation of sales is made through a sample of the consultations carried out in the database with national coverage of Boa Vista. This survey of Father's Day considered the consultations between 4 and 11 August 2019, compared to the consultations from 5 to 12 August 2018. Sources: Money Times/Exclusive
