Couromoda 2016, which ended its 43rd edition on Wednesday, January 13, was celebrated by the directors of gaucho brands who participated in the collective booth coordinated by SEBRAE/RS in partnership with the State Government and ACI/NH. All 56 representatives of micro and small industries exhibited on-site made sales guaranteeing the production of the Autumn-Winter collection 2016. The volume reached a total value of R$ 9,335.639,00, equivalent to 202,961 pairs/parts.
There were 2,521 contacts with national and foreign buyers, with 1,144 started businesses and 1,144 closed deals. The manager of the Regional Sinos, Caí and Paranhana of SEBRAE/RS, Marco Aurélio Copetti, who accompanied the four-day event in the pavilions of the Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo, realizes that the overcoming of expectation is one of the brands that remain of this first event of the calendar of Brazilian footwear fairs. "At a time when the economic crisis theme takes care of all the concerns of entrepreneurs, we have an interesting result in small businesses," he stresses. For him, the format of participation in collective booth is a strategy already consolidated by SEBRAE/RS and that guarantees market access to the industries.
