The participation of 65 footwear brands in the world's largest footwear fair, theMicam, in Milan/Italy, generated $12 million in immediate business equivalent to the sale of 788.3 thousand pairs of footwear. The show, between 17 and 20 September, featured 1.4 thousand exhibitors who received more than 40,000 buyers. The yellow-green participation was supported by Brazilian Footwear, a footwear export support program maintained by the Brazilian Association of Footwear Industries (Abicalcados) in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).
