The 7th edition of Zero Grau, a fair that brought together 1,2,000 footwear brands in Gramado/RS between November 20 and 22, was stage for another edition of the Image Project. The program brought three journalists, two Argentines and one Russian to know and disseminate the products presented in their countries.

Argentinian Aldo Delfino, director of Serma, stressed that, although the consumption of footwear has been dumping in Argentina since the end of 2015 (5% to 6% according to official sources), Brazilian footwear continues to have room with the local consumer. "The attention that on the flight to Brazil, more than 70% of passengers were Argentines coming to Brazil to participate in Zero Grau. And they were not only great traders, but also manufacturers who came looking for complementary references to their productions", he said.
For Maurício Herzovich, director of the Argentine portal CueroAmerica, the fair surprised. According to him, the presence of important companies in the segment and the expressive visitation drew attention. "We perceive many foreign buyers, not only from South America, but from all over the world. We saw at the event, buyers from South Africa, the Middle East and Europe," he said.
The Russian journalist Natalia Timashova of Shoes Report highlighted the quality of the products presented, especially those of leather, which are very successful in Russia. "The women's heel shoes drew attention, because it is the type of product that Russian women wear in all environments, at work and at home," he said.
