More than business, the 48th edition of Francal, a shortlist fair that brought together about 500 exhibitors at Anhembi, in São Paulo/SP, between 26 and 29 June, highlighted the return of trust by the entrepreneurs of the segment.
For the president-executive of the Brazilian Association of Footwear Industries (Abicalcados), Heitor Klein, in addition to the show having exceeded the expectations of many entrepreneurs – although they were not of the best, since the Brazilian economic framework – it signaled the return of the confidence of the Brazilian footwear sector. According to him, Francal came to ratify the latest research of the National Confederation of Industries (CNI), which pointed out the best confidence index by entrepreneurs since November 2014. "I believe that, more important than the business carried out, that were good for much of the exhibitors, the most relevant aspect of the fair was the resumption of the climate of trust", highlighted the executive, highlighting the perception that Brazil seems to have reached the end of a cycle of casualties and that it should resume economic growth gradually from the second half of 2016.
